Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Water is leaking from the irrigation tube connector on the box. What should I do?

A: Remove the blue clip, push in the white plastic piece, and pull the hose out. Reinsert the hose, ensuring it is inserted straight and securely into the connector. Then, reattach the blue clip to lock it in place.

Q: Water is leaking from the hose/pressure adapter connection to the box. What should I do?

A: Unscrew the hose or pressure adapter from the box and check that the rubber ring inside the female hose connector is seated flat. Reconnect the hose/adapter firmly, ensuring a tight seal.

Q: How long can a single irrigation line be?

A: We do not recommend extending a single line beyond 100 feet to maintain optimal water pressure and distribution.

Q: Can irrigation lines be split into multiple lines?

A: Yes, but we recommend splitting a line no more than three ways to ensure even water distribution.

Q: My AquaFlower device shows as ‘Disconnected’ in the app. What should I do?

A: Double-click the button on AquaFlower to reset the device. If this does not bring it back online, please contact support@theaquaflower.com for assistance.

Q: My device won’t pair. What should I do?

A:

  1. Hold the button on AquaFlower for 10 seconds until the light turns orange (pairing mode).
  2. Ensure you are within range of the device and in a location with at least three bars of WiFi signal strength.
  3. If the device does not connect on the first attempt, press "Retry" in the app. It usually connects on the second attempt.
  4. If you've tried these steps and are still experiencing issues, contact support@theaquaflower.com.

Q: Can I use AquaFlower with a rain barrel or low-pressure water source?

A: AquaFlower requires consistent water pressure (at least 25 PSI) to function properly. If using a rain barrel, you may need a booster pump to maintain adequate pressure.

Q: Does AquaFlower work with well water?

A: Yes, but ensure your well system provides adequate water pressure. If you experience inconsistent flow, using a pressure regulator or booster pump may help stabilize performance.

Q: Can AquaFlower be used indoors for houseplants?

A: AquaFlower is designed for outdoor irrigation but can be adapted for indoor use with proper drainage and water collection systems.

Q: How do I clean the AquaFlower system?

A: Periodically flush the system by running water through the lines to prevent clogging. If mineral buildup occurs, you can soak the drip emitters in a vinegar-water solution to dissolve any blockages.

Q: Can I control AquaFlower with smart home systems like Alexa or Home Assistant?

A: Yes! AquaFlower can be integrated with Home Assistant via MQTT. Future updates may include expanded smart home compatibility.

Q: What is the warranty on AquaFlower?

A: AquaFlower comes with a one-year limited warranty. More information is available at AquaFlower Warranty or reach out to support@theaquaflower.com for assistance.
